Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Georgia Museum of Transportation and Industry shall be to collect and preserve artifacts that relfect Georgia's transportation and industrial heritage.
The Georgia Museum of Transportation and Indiustry will strive through research, conservation, partnerships and exhibitions to entertain, educate, and inspire the public to appreciate the historic relationship between industry and transportation as it relates to the growth and development of Georgia.

To give the visitor a comprehensive overview of Georgia's transportation and industrial history; and show how it has affected the state and people through their shared experiences.
